yeah i def dont play 20bbers, the tiny bit of EV i give up is heavily outweighed by the EV I save from me 45xing them

I suk at playing vs shortstackers. If u play against a bad shortstacker (20BB) and he opens with 3BB, with which range do you shove?

is a good start

edit: altho u can probably guess that your edge will be a lot larger if you can move more of the action to postflop

i dont wait for action long. i play Nl50 on ipoker. the think is there is a lot of regs and i open my tbls i dont join regs tbls.. so sometimes i wait like 20 mins and then got action on 1 tbl

Yup. Kinda strange how they suddenly dipped in quality. I mean they've been on a gradual decline for the last year now but since 2010 started they have taken a real nose dive which puzzles me.

The future of the games worries me a lot.

and beside rake is so awful at small stakes unless the match is really short your potential gains from these matches are really limited. I guess at 2/4+ it's a bit more reasonable but I still wouldn't play them.

I hate playing shortstackers. They win a couple flips and then you're basically playing them just to win your money back and breakeven after rake. That is if they don't hit n run you ofc.

What's everyones cutoff point for playing a SS'er? Mine is currently 30bb. I arrived at that using a highly scientific method..........................butnahhhhhhhh it's actually completely arbitrary.
