Pair = good

I don't think this is that relevant against most opponents. They will look at the fact that he reps nothing and although he doesn't really rep air or a made hand, they will think that not repping a made hand implies that he has air (which is true in some cases, false in others)

Also I think the more important thing isn't that he barrels this turn a lot with air, but that when he doesn't barrel the turn with air then he has given up and isn't firing river.

Anybody else on Absolute Poker notice their notes disappear from time to time? I emailed their support team about it and they informed me that...

"In response to your inquiry, let us inform you that notes made are reseted with software updates and also reinstalation."

What a terrible software implementation. I guess I'm gonna have to keep my HU notes in PT3 from now on.

seriously though why can't they just come up with a set of rules, then make a the software force you to comply? shouldn't that take like 15 minutes tops?

i think it's on the way...sites are notoriously shaky and slow at making changes..gotta just hope if/when they do implement it into software they do it properly. as it stands, with all the shakiness, i think the rules have been a very good thing.

you know a much better way to solve the same problem is if there was more/better action. i can't remember the last time i saw a stars commercial on tv, but they used to be on all the time. maybe they should work on their pr.

haha, i think you may have accidentlly posted in the wrong thread? that being said, i don't think PR is FT's or PS's top issues.

These two companies make such a sick sick sick amount of $.

What will be interesting is how Pacific/Harrah's will shift if it really comes to the US market.

any 200nl regs want to chat a bit or set up a game to play eachother from time to time? Id like to chat about hands and strat and gain some experiance playing regs and move up but its tough to get someone sitting to 2-3 table. Obviously cool if 100 or 400nl regs would drop me a message as well...i just wont be playing 400nl regs for a while. Just leave me a PM.

I used to beta test for video games (mostly MMORPGs specifically). I always used to ask the devs why some **** just didn't get done. I have a degree in CS so I kinda understand the changes that need to be made. The reality is that when you have 1000 things that all take 20 minutes you have to prioritize and obviously the whole thing will take a very long time.

fair enough..i actually don't think it's that bad that players police the stuff themselves and FT enforces it if you break the rules..the problem is people like urubu shout to 2+2 that he got suspended while xxxx and yyyyy didn't when the problem is simply that no one reported those people. if the true abusers get reported a few times you won't be seeing them do it for long and within a couple months no regulars should be doing it.

ft's enforcement has been too inconsistent but players will follow the rules if say they get a 3 day ban and know the next ban could be 3 weeks. no one will risk that to have 2 stupid tables open, and if they do, hu regs can be happy that there could be one less hu player for a while if they report them.

in general i really think people should just report true abusers. not the guy that had one stupid table too many or something silly but just the people who are blatantly abusing the lobby. i also think if there is any hint of doubt that it is their intention, sit with them and ask first. civility works for prob 60% of players and the other 40% find it a great time to make some stupid jack*** response. at which point, report them.

lj,

which leads us to the same conclusion that we reach about every aspect of FTPs business:

they need to hire more people.

Anyone come across Bob 5nyder at 50NL? Guy just sits for 3 hands doesnt fold to bets or raises and plays super aggro and on the 3rd hand shoves pre over a raise to steal like $5.

So f*cking annoying! He did this 3 times to a friend of mine and twice to me. The 3rd time I snapped him off with A3o and he had 66! FML
