hmm I guess maybe I had the definition of grimming wrong. If someone has autopost on they should still always let u play the BB. I'll often just fold if I have autopost on and someone sits in that I dont want to play. The money isn't really important to me, it's just disappointing the level of decency some people have.

Figured this doesn't need a strat thread or anything, but: I am playing a decent player at 200NL. He has a $160 stack cause I just won a pot a hand ago.

He minraises to $4, I 3bet to $15, he 4bets to $37, leaving himself $123.

Anyone have opinions on how often he folds to a shove here? (fwiw he has 3bet a ton, I think this is his first 4bet tho, it's pretty early on).

mostly this. You guys just call it "scummy" because it annoys you when it happens. In reality these people that raise a button and sit out or 3 bet then sit out are doing nothing anywhere near breaking any rules and its never going to stop so its probably best to just quit being babies and get over it. ( I am in some ways talking to myself here as well)

3 betting and then sitting out is totally fine with me as it has no inherent edge. Opening btn then sitting out is bad because someone takes a +EV advantage and then sit out. It is the only thing I ever complain about and my way of venting is to post in this forum their sn's. Every other form of disrespect is just that, disrespect. But stealing blinds is just plain dirty.

Go to the beach or go on a vacation for a month without bringing a computer. Think about how you will look back on the past few weeks a year from now. It's very obvious you are on lifetilt just take a break and come back with a straight head. It's not worth it to go down in flames.

I just moved up to 400NL but I don't have action compared with 200NL. I hesitate to add some 600NL tables, what do you think of the difference between 400NL and 600NL ? It seems like a lot of players plays on both limit so maybe they are about as difficult.
Last question, I have about 20k, I was winning at 9ptbb/100 over a large sample (more than 100k hands) on 200NL, do you think it'll be reasonable to play that high (I mean I only have 33 buyins for 600NL) ?
I'm a losing player on 400NL, I played tehre few months ago while being staked and coached and lost aobut 10k on 20k hands.

NL600 regs are much better than NL400 ones (when they give you action). The fish are the same.

Playing w/ 20k is ok if you're willing to move down.
