Any HU players interested in living in Sao Paulo, Brazil with my friend and I for a month? If we like it we'll be doing two months. We're mid-stakes grinders and will be focused on learning Brazillian Portugese, grinding, and getting with local chicks.

As of mid January we'll be in Medellin, Colombia then we'll be going to the Rio area for Carnival and finally settling in a 3 BR apt in Sao Paulo first week of March. You can meet up with us any time. Rent will be 1k-1.5kish/month. PM me if interested with stakes played, screen names, what type of person you are etc...

[I am weedreference (ftp), donminator (stars), donmination (abs) and my friend is ecce **** (a four letter word that starts with H for gay people) on ftp]

it's so awesome when the opposite happens though. nothing like 2barreling 86cc on A75cc, turn 2, river 2 and shipping vs 64

Ran like **** and played pretty bad for like 2 weeks. Wasn't game selecting at all so that made it alot worse when I was playing bad. Made an ok comeback near the end though but still a bummer to not reach my year end goal. Guess I just have to crank out some massive volume for January.

Gratz on the nice month though man.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.50(BB) Absolute
Hero ($59.85)
($97.05)

Dealt to Hero 9 K , calls $0.25, Hero checks

FLOP ($1) K 9 Q

Hero bets $1, raises to $4, Hero calls $3

TURN ($9) K 9 Q K

Hero checks, bets $9, Hero raises to $24, raises to $81, Hero calls $31.35 (AI)

RIVER ($119) K 9 Q K T

shows T J
(Pre 43%, Flop 82.6%, Turn 2.3%)

Hero shows 9 K
(Pre 57%, Flop 17.4%, Turn 97.7%)

wins $119

I c/r turn because this villain has a 0% aggression frequency up to now. he will call top pair in position and check it down. so when he raises i'm sure he has a flush, straight, 2 pair, set etc... and he seems awful so I'm sure he pays me off. but honestly theres no difference because he obv doesn't understand relative handstrenght anyways.

OK,tell me why its "better" to have a high red line and a lower blue line then it is to have to opposite, because that means you bluff more and call less and thats super kewl? I'm just baffled as to why so many ppl here seem to think it means so much.

it generally means you at least aren't weak tight

I think when you're playing against fish it's much more profitable to have a style where your red line stays breakeven and most of your profits comes from your blue line. Pretty sure this style means less variance too.

i disagree cause your consistently picking up small pots to make up for the showdown losses it doesnt have much to do with variance
