HU cash mindset causing light stackoffs in MTTs, how do you guys make the mental adjustment? HU cash mindset causing light stackoffs in MTTs, how do you guys make the mental adjustment?

Guys,

A general question but I'd think many of us are in a similar boat - when you play HU cash daily, if and when you do play MTTs (both 9 and 6 handed), do you find that you are pushing it a ton in late position, and HU in the blinds.

And making bets and calls that are winning plays in HU cash, but are spew in MTT (I'm finding HU in the blinds and in late position battles I get it in too light).

Apart from abstaining entirely from the vice of MTT (which sounds reasonable to me), are there easy to remember rules of thumb to keep me out of trouble (and more helpful than simply "tighten up").

a good rule of thumb is to take each occasion separately and don't think "oh this is a standard line in hucash i should do that". Because in hucash you take a standard line on your limit even if it shouldn't be standard against some opponents it is against most so it still makes you money in the longrun . in mtt if you take a standard line just once against the wrong opponent you could be out.
