I think preflop and flop are very standard plays. On the turn, I C-Bet again because I think the most likely holdings of vilain are a flush draw and pocket pairs. Since the Ace fits my range, I think it is a decent spot to fire a second barrel and try to make a bigger pocket pair fold.
He then checks raises me and in this spot I think that with 88 I have a pretty easy fold. But should I continue with AKo or AQo? I think vilain would not gain anything from playing Ax suited hearts like this although it is certainly a possibility, besides that, the only hands that would make sense are A2s or 44.
As played, I think it's pretty standard. But it got me thinking in what would I do if I had AK on that spot. I probably would curse and call it off.
What do you think?
