hey. I've just got holdem manager and trying to get to grips with it.

Would appreciate any advice regarding what the most useful stats (other than the obvious 3bet%/ cold call% -type stuff) that you have found, and how you've found them to be useful.

This, and call/raise/fold cbet is pretty useful for me especially when multitabling.

some of the more uncommon ones that help are raise c-bet, and won at SD when raise turn.. although u need like a ton of hands for the last one to help u getting reads..

if you buy it through deuces cracked you basically get a free month of videos. Maybe check that out, if it sounds interesting. There's a post about it in their sponsored forum on here. I think Leggo may have a similar deal, not sure though.

vpip/pfr/total agg/3bet
folds to cbet/folds to 2barrel/wtsd
cbet/2barrel/donk flop into pfr/bet river after checked turn

Which one is the 2barrel stat? Is that "turn continuation bet"?

Raise c-bet is available by default in the click popup menu, so I just check there if I think it's out of line. yes, 2barrel = turn c-bet.

If you think vpip is worthless, you're missing out on something.
There are probably more in-depth stats that give you more detailed information about villan, this doesn't make vpip worthless though.

the stats that are going to be far more accurate and useful for HU are defends BB to steal and UO SB PFR.... if you can't figure out why then well i dunno what to tell you...

use it dependant on the situations you get in most/and,or the types of players you play most. HEM has a plethora of data, if u want to filter it, by all means do.

I agree with B1ght. Overall vpip is practically worthless, unless you have a good feel for where the player lies in the range from playing 60% of their buttons and 40% of their big blinds to where they're playing 90% of their buttons, but only 10% of their big blinds.

But if you know that, you don't need the stat anyway.

If your hud allows you to separate preflop play by position (PT3 does, but you have to build custom stats to do it), then you definitely should.

hey guys, I'm pretty new to HU. Would someone mind posting a screenshot of like two-tabling with the HEM HUD running? I'm considering dumping PT3 and getting this, but I'm unsure.

HEM is the nuts! Not sure why you want a pic of 2 tabling, just imagine I opened 2 tables
