I was pretty sure I was in the lead on this had. Opponent had been playing pretty aggressive and would bet hand he had. I saw a few show downs with other players. I didnt really see him slow playing. Since he just calls my bets I figure his hand isnt very strong and Im probably winning or he will fold.

I do sometimes have a problem checking the Turn after I bet or cbet the flop. It seems to me that Im just announcing I missed the Flop cbet, took a stab now Im giving up. Letting my opponent know his middle pair for example is good. So I fired all 3 bullets.

I was right with my assessment of the hand but he gets lucky on the River. I could have had a Set of Qs this hand and results the same. What are your thoughts on this hand? Did I give him the right price to make his calls?

What are your thoughts if your opponent in this hand?

I don't have issue with double barrel, but think it might be a risk to triple in this case. Hard to say not seeing his play, but after he calls half-pot on flop and near pot on turn he clearly has something.

Tough. Sometimes you need to three-barrel for sure, and if he isn't holding something decent it is hard to call the river. Still, I'd be a bit put off after he calls a big turn bet.
