As we go through variance and tilt, the Degen within us comes out of its shell starts fist pumping the air and says **** it lets gamble.
obviously we go busto.

To stop us doing this in the moment of time.
pokerstars has an option to stop us, which also helps with bankroll management.

step1, on the pokerstars lobby hit request.
step2, look down and see responsible gambling ( go to it )
step3, click on that restrict table limit and choose the limit that's relevant to your bankroll.

I know this wont apply to most people on here but obviously new players will come to this site for sources of info and if it saves them a $1 i will be happy.

note:
it also takes 24 hours to change the stakes so if your moving up in stakes. CONGRATULATIONS, have a day off to study and the next day hit the tables at a newer limit.

There's something to be said for this but there's also something to be said for learning how to tilt-control.

Why you plank? Your negative in every post I see. I obviously know about tilt control etc but a lot of new players won't so there's no harm in doing the above, only positive. plus the guy above really needs to look in the mirror, wouldn't call me a ****** to my face , only over the net haha and spends more time on this forum then he actually does playing

Another great way:

Step 1: Delete your PS client.
Step 2: Study poetry.
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit!

...but seriously: Stop telling people to stop losing money! You hate money, or what?

Tilt-control was another fleeting edge in poker, but who needs edges these days huh?

This is something I have been thinking about lately and seems to create a fundamental conflict with this site's existence: if we don't want to give people info which stops them losing money, what is the point of a public strat forum?

As if there is any decent strat posting nowadays. SSNLfr figured it out years ago.

As if people will be swayed by a random post by a random poster on 2p2.

Some gamblers don't want to control tilt. They want the opposite.
