I think this play is probably good but would like to hear others thoughts - I think a good portion of my double draws are check-raising OTF so OTT I need bluff to balance my K8/J8 that turned two pair - I'm jamming most rivers except an A probably - I was mainly targeting his Jx

I would like this line a lot better if we had a diamond in our hand. We block missed draws (obviously, because our draw has missed) and unblock flushes.

Fold flop/pre is marginal. You are calling for a non nut gutshot on a FD board.

As played, fold turn. You aren't repping anything except maybe 88 and you'll 3bet that preflop sometimes.

2 broadway boards barely get Xred OTF - even less so OTT for obvious reasons.

Villain's sizing isn't good either.

if you ARE going to do this, raise turn much bigger on the turn and don't overbet river. as doodoo alluded to, why would you jam a flush or KJ on a paired board? i do think you can have some j8s and k8s in addition to 88 here but that only adds 3 combos, so still a super narrow range.
