hey guys. I am about to become Supernova on pokerstars this month. I am a regular 100NL cash game regular and when i game select, i tend to not sit at the same table with people that are showing supernova status. the reason for this is that to me it means that they are good, solid, multi-tabling and competent players.

my question is, do you think it is better to show supernova status if you have it to ward off other good players because they won't want to sit with you (since they will assume you are also a competent good player) or do you think it is better to not show VIP status and remain an unknown player to the rest of the field? I am a platinum star right now and have never turned the display VIP status option on. I will be supernova within 2 weeks so I want to know what is optimal because I think there is actually a good amount of significance to this.

Show the status to let them know just who the **** you are and that you won't take their **** cause you're a supernova and that means you're a ****ing god!

there are only a few supernovas. i would show it because i think the fish will want to take this unique opportunity to play with a Supernova Pokerstars Player because they might not see one again soon!

I dont think it matters much, people play according to your tendancies, not by how many fpp's you have.

I think it does affect the regulars. If you are a regular in a cash game say 100NL, why would you want to play at the same table as another competent and solid regular who is grinding it out like you are? Wouldn't you rather play at a table with more fish than regulars? More fish = more money More regs = less money IMO.

If there's a supernova at 100nl, chances are they're a 12-24 tabling robot that's basically taking up a seat and making it a 5max table.
