I would shove diamond draws, I figured out I could as well shove the nuts before some turn cards kill my action. But you're right in theory, according to GTOw, we should shove strong diamond draws + some weaker value hands like QQ, JJ. TT is slowplayed and protects weaker calling hands (some pocket pairs, some diamond draws).

In fact I think in this pool the 4bet + big cbet is massively underbluffed. I think my mistake is the preflop call instead.

I think quads fastplays more often than not. Not entirely sure on the heuristics for how best to play quads though. Probably less good to fastplay quads IP in 4BPs than most spots.

In hindsight I probably should've gone with the 60x open to set up the nice clean pot sized flop shove. I think I've read somewhere that you're supposed to do something like that in GTO.

You're right that it's less good to fastplay quads IP in a 4bp, quads should never be raised in that spot. There's no equity to protect or need to build the pot

Think a good rule of thumb for quads is that you want to raise them a lot less often when IP, and at shallower SPRs

I think we open 60x to polarize at a 25% frequency with a merged range when previous flop is monotone in a 3bp as IP caller

At equilibrium, and of course, depending on blockers.

When aggro regs try to own you but you merged OTT to re own them. '

This hand kind of just seems wp by both... I definitely don't see this as 88 trying to own you. 88 probably can't fold so both calling and raising are probably fine.

Idea

Create a tagged hands category in DriveHud and call it "RunGoot" and put hands like the one below in it.

Then anytime I feel like I never get lucky and variance is always against me, I can just refer back to the RunGoot hands.

BU's play isn't good though you don't just put people on FD's/AK and ship. Preflop is a fold as well.

That's not really how low SPR situations work. You don't have to put your opponent on a draw or ace-high to shove. You get to shove very merged sometimes.

FWIW my solver thinks shoving and calling are both the same EV (never folds), but it isn't shoving much here (3%), presumably because strong hands and strong draws are so incentivized to call. Ironically the only hands it shoves here in my sim are some AQs, some AJs, a sliver of 77, and a tiny amount of 88 (prioritizing 88 with one FD blocker and almost pure calling 88 with no relevant suits.

From a practical standpoint, I really like the idea of having these shoves for your lowest PPs in an anonymous pool. You can't fold turn, but 88 is going to be a 0 EV bluffcatcher on the best rivers, which aren't many. If shoving isn't an EV mistake then you're freerolling, and OOP can easily make some huge mistakes against it.

(I know this thread isn't meant for discussing strategy but I think this spot is pretty interesting)
