Wondering if I played this ok, or if there is room for improvement.

Villain has raised their button each of the first two times, this is Villain's third button. Villain has folded to my raises or post flop bets from my button, so thus far my only real read is that he knows to raise his buttons and not to get too involved oop. I don't have the hand history (wasn't saving them on this computer doh), so I'm going to try to recreate from memory.

Blinds 15/30
Stacks just about 1500 each
Hero: A2
Villain raises to 60
Hero calls

Flop 2KK

Hero checks
Villain bets 60
Hero raises to 180
Villain calls
pot 480

At this point I suspect a flush draw or another 2. He could be slowplaying a K, but I think he would have reraised me with a K.

Turn Q

Hero bets 200
Villain calls
pot 980

Should I have bet bigger here? I'm trying to represent a value bet with a K, and I suspect my 2 is still good anyway. I would have expected a raise from him with a K here, so rule that out. I'm largely thinking flush draw on his part.

River 8

This is where my oop HU may need work. I realize I have gotten myself into a situation where any bet from me is only being called by a better hand. The pot is so big I don't know if I can fold to any bet from the villain as I am likely to induce a bluff from a busted flush draw by checking.

Is there a better way to play this? Can I fold to a bet of any size on the river?

In this case, he checked his busted flush draw and I won the hand, but as we all know the actual results don't matter that much.

Fold pre. Flat flop, re-evaluate turn.

I'd probably fold pre. Otherwise I'm just going to flat flop and try to keep the pot small. Key quote for you from you "[try] not to get too involved oop [with marginal hands]" it makes your life a lot harder than it needs to be. You can easily c/c here with this as he will C-bet flop with most cards that he's raising with (you will be ahead a lot).

When you got to river, you had made a large pot with a marginal hand and you really screwed yourself because it is hard to c/f now with this much money in the pot. if the pot was 240 you could just let it go and wait for a better spot. now you really need to barrel and hope to take it down although that's a horrible play because any cards that have called you thus far will have a hard time to fold here.
