Rules:
- All times refer to ET(PS and FT server time).
- All hands played from 04/01/2010 00:00 until 04/31/2010 23:59 count.
- 100K hands minimum.
- Only hands from 0.10c/0.25c (25nl) and higher will count.
- All hands at FR/6max/HU/Rush cash games count (as long as game is tracked via HEM or PT3).
- WR must be greater than 0.00bb/100.
- Losers will send bets to an escrow(anyone? not me since I am a degen) to be split among the winners.
- "Noob" posters will need to escrow.
- Must declare whether u are in or out by April 5, 2010 23:59.
- The bet is $100
- If there are less than 6 people signed in on April 5th we will cancel the bet.
- Once you are in, you are in. After March 5 no one is allowed to withdraw from the bet without valid reasons. (No lame excuses because you suddenly realized 100k hands is a lot.)
- Rules MIGHT slightly be altered prior to the starting date, keep an eye out.(5 APRIL 2010)

Ok, so I am really in the mood for this and I want some inspiration for next month. So I am starting this early. Definitely want to make another 100k month at least. I totally stole the rules from this months thread, which I missed out on. Hope no one minds.

- All limits count

- Only limitation is that the hands have to be played at Texas Holdem NL/PL. Playing SH/HU is okay as long as it is on a Full Ring table.

- Hands played on a Rush table will not count.

- Your overall winnings for the month have to be greater then $0.

- There are two pools: $50 and $100. You can only win money from the pool you are in. But you can buy in for both.

- All participants must give at least weekly updates, even if you are not doing well.

- Escrowing is only needed if you are a low poster here and/or I do not know you.

Mhh. Reasonable. Though this itself will become a clutter. Perhaps a sub forum for prop bets would be reasonable since this is a big forum itself. And that would be pretty fun itself.

Don't hold your breath on a sub forum for prop bets. 2+2's stance on prop bets is that they are probably illegal in most U.S. jurisdictions, are private transactions among people who happen to also post on 2+2, and 2+2 does not get involved in them in any way.

If 2+2 provided a sub-forum, doing so would undermine it's "we're not involved," stance.

It's the same reason you won't see a "recreational drug use" forum.

I want to do a prop bet for April, but don't have any ideas. I am a low volume (about 20K hands) a month 100NL player....

Maybe you want to check out the low volume prop bet then (see OP).

I shouldn't want to enter this since our house should be done in April... but...

I am having a hard time figuring out what the bet is...is it WR? Is it volume but need to be +?

It is volume and overall result have to be greater than $0. The table amount works like a handicap i.e. when u set your minimum to 25k hands you can only play up to 8 tables at once.

Sammy if you want, you and I can just do a small pool and just set a goal for each player. That way you don't get raped in EV (a player joining a 25k pool and plans on playing 150k hands makes it a wayyy -EV prob, disregarding the motivation you receive from the prop). So we could each set a differnet goal, and you lose money if you don't make the goal. I am doing that now with El Nino, and I think it is pretty effective. Just something to consider if you can't find a prop/pool to join.

Yeah, anbody want to join a WR prob bet for April. 18-25K hands or so. We can work out the odds depending on the player/level/volume?
