When does the 4bet shove Calculator help you?

a) when your opponent 3bets the hell out of you and you have a hand with bad playability. Often it is mathematically correct to just shove all-in.

Now some of you already know when to do this with small pocket pairs. But when is it ok, and when is it spew?
Do you want to rely on your "feeling" or strenghten your intuition by doing some simple math?

Although its fairly "obvious" when you or villain 4bet shoves, if you have to much crap in your range (which a 20+ 3bet% simply has to have), then you have no choice, but to curse and fold.


b) you can use this for any stacksize and any other situation. You can even use it on the flop and figure out if you can shove that gutshot/flushdraw.


c) You can apply the same scenario when you are 4bet and figure whether you should 5bet shove or not


d) If you play 6max, vs shorties/30-50BB stacks its EXTREMELY powerful.

Especially vs those Spaniards

Amazing find, I play HUSNG's and have been trying to work the math for 4bet shove ranges, this will make my life so much easier (4b shoving is a lot more relevant to HUSNG's because of shorter effective stacks).

My only objection to this is that in HU especially, 4bet shipping pre for 100bb's effective is my no means standard, and I think villain would interpret it in a very extreme way, and peg you as just a total preflop psycho. They probably would adjust verrrrry quickly to this type of play, and I would gather it would be hard to pin them down on what kind of range they would be calling you with as you just aren't going to have a good sample size of them 3bet calling 100bb shoves.
