I don't have any maths right now since I only have 19 hands this year where I limp/raised. So far it's given me a profit of 2550bb/100 but of course I need to compare it to when I open raise. Once I get enough hands I'll compare them.
I think I read a thread a while ago by one of the respectable coaches here, who provided stats over large samples that limp/rr from EP (this is important) with AA can be more profitable than open raise.
So it is not a bad play in itself, but it depends largely on table dynamics to work. However, I think those stats were from hands played a few years ago. The problem nowadays is that a lot of players now know very well that limp/reraise is AA almost 100% of the time. You will get preflop folds very often. I personally almost always fold to a limp/rr when I see anyone do it for the first time
