Doesn't matter that the fish is deep. Bet flop, bet turn, shove river, as played open-shove river.

I don't see how betting flop is the most +ev here, If he is on anything but a flush draw, I'm scaring him off due to him being bad and therefore likely having monsters under the bed syndrome due to paired board.

He's aggro pre but is known to check back flops despite raising if he doesn't hit.

He's a fish, he calls with Ax, 7x, gunshots, flush draws on the flop. I guarantee you that checking is a lot worse than betting the flop.

Also I don't know what u mean by monsters under bed?

I mean thought process of lots of 2NL fish is 'oh board has two tens, I have an overpair but he bet and board has 2 tens so he might have a ten I fold.'

Especially since he's not the aggro-bluffy type.

Theres a reason these people are 2nl fish, youd be surprised at what crap they can turn up with.

Unless his aggression frequency is insane you better be betting all 3 streets. This line is dreadful. If you absolutely want to slow play your quads only do it on the first street. You can't allow the pot to remain that small.

This.

You make the big money by getting value over multiple streets. Winning a huge pot sometimes > winning a small pot more often.

I think you should think about your entire range, you would bet with ur entire 3 bet range on that board, so why check??

It is so suspicious as well.

I'm not even cbetting my air against whales on these textures because they just never fold anything.

+1 to what everyone else is saying.

When he has 54 or some other complete air, he is probably folding to your bet on the flop and you will be sad. However, if he is not bluffy postflop, you are highly unlikely to get a cent out of those hands later in the hand anyway, so you might as well start betting and hope he has something and can call. Since he is a whale, the latter is actually pretty likely. The fact that he might fold and you won't get to show down your quads and will be sad is not a good reason to check.

This makes the flop check even more atrocious.

Also, the effective stack is 100bb and don't show your quads after taking this line.

... no-one, especially not a fish, is folding an overpair on the flop
