Villain is very loose and aggressive after about 20 hands. A saw this flop and wanted to get all the money in. I'm not comfortable with how I played this at all though.

i think you needed to build the pot a little before your huge overbets. preflop is fine, but reraise him on the flop to 5ish. the pot would be about 12, and on the turn you could get away with a raise to 13.

although if he truly was a LAG, such overbets probably made him think you were trying to push him out with air. if you played this hand otherwise you may not have stacked him.

I don't mind it. His line is very weird here though.

i just go $3.25 on the flop probably and try to get it in. you dont want ot raise huge, but you also need to get money in since youre deep and have the relative nuts on this flop

I would have raised the flop.

As played I just call his small bet on the river. IMO he's playing this a lot like he has AQ and he's worried that you have a set. He might also have 88 or he might have AK and you win. However, I would call the small bet, but I would not raise because I think it's too likely you only get called by hands that beat you.

ya gotta raise this flop against someone this LAG. Your turn raise also looks a little too big

I agree with the raising of the flop. But it is a crime to let the villain of the hook for this price. If he is worried about a set this would be a horrible blocker because he is getting raised again anyway. He has less than a pot size bet. So if he checked I am pretty sure that the Hero would have put him. He does not have to raise all-in here, but at least put something in there. Although if he shoves over you it really sucks.

raise flop. less on turn.

as played, i guess you have to shove river given reads.

I think I would need specific evidence that suggests the villain can call a huge overbet with ace rag after heavy action. I think it is a rare breed that would not fold top pair to your turn raise. Only "legitimate" hands you are beating after that call are A3 and possibly AK, if you think villain deserves some credit.

Against a proven maniac I don't "slowplay" flop.

I punched river to Equilator with possible turn calling hands: AA, QQ, 88, 33, AQ+, A3. A8 is 47/53 dog on that range in equity. If the range is looser, river raise is positive EV.
