PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (2 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($29.35)
Hero (SB) ($10)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9, 6
Hero bets $0.30, BB calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.60) 4, A, 10 (2 players)
BB bets $0.60, Hero raises to $1.80, BB calls $1.20

Turn: ($4.20) 4 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($4.20) 8 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $6, 1 fold

Total pot: $4.20 | Rake: $0.20

Preflop: standard

Flop: FDB with a range that can only continue if he has an ace so I just raised him, have equity if called.

Turn: Can't rep. that card. Probably can bet here continuing the story of an ace, but I wanted some free equity to my FD because a large portion of his range is an A.

River: I can rep something along a T, a weak A, an 8, a spade draw that somehow got there. The overbet is just for image purposes since I know it will work a large majority of the time. He checked twice so now I think his range is weak enough for me to stick a bet out there.

I don't get why you would raise on the flop against a total unknown that donks the pot

Yeah, I agree with everything you said. Is this just an educational post?

No its just to see if you disagree / agree, and if you disagree, say why.

I do agree that I neglected that in his range. Thanks.

Conversely, a donk against an unknown is weak also. It is a comparatively dry flop, and "dry flop + an ace = fire to try and steal the pot" is probably what the villain is thinking.
