I think the river fold is correct; the mistake in you made in this hand was your preflop and turn bet sizing. I feel preflop you should be making it 4bb out of the big blind when limped to (at this stack size and opponent dependent of course). On the turn you need to make you bet closer to pot sized so you can have a slight overbet allin on the river (if you make it 15 on the tunriver a river allin would be $51 into a $46 pot)

edit: reads would be extremely useful

Well reads could change it, but readless folding is the correct play imo.

If folding is the correct play, then I guess I play wrong.

Readless, I generally assume my opponent is a ****** and could even be spazzing out here with a worse flush, a straight, or even a 6, and that's not even including the possibility he might be bluffing. (aggrotards LOVE to bluff at boards like this. They don't even have to figure out what they're presenting, just make a big bet and let you decide which part scares you most) Combine that with the fact that we're playing 100NL, and I'm happily calling here all day.

Maybe I'm completely offbase here, but this seems more like a situation where you would need a strong read in order to fold, not one to call.

Your hand only has to be good about 31% of the time, and if you're folding the nut flush, what's your calling range, exactly? How many fullhouses are you folding? 67? 68? 6T? 77?

Well, some guys are doing this with only the straight flush whereas others are doing this with a wider range that includes bluffs and crap but we just don't know which one we're playing here.

I'm not folding any full house. Having one makes him less likely to have one (skewing his range towards bluffs) and there's the added chance that he does this with the A of spades.

"Tard" is a MUCH larger part of an unknown player's range than "ubernit who only raises the stone cold" IMO.

i think you are putting yourself in a ****ing though situation by betting the river here for very little value (if any..). i just think check/call river is simply better.. and the easyer way to play this hand

you put more than 50% of your stack after the river bet and i think you can be good more than 1/4, so i guess it's a call as played.
probably c/c river is better
