Do you ever show your cards, and why/when?

This is why I always advocate against showing your hand. In this example he wanted to let me know how
he out played me with correct fold, but really just gave me further confidence to be able to bluff him off pairs.

B) I use Rumble because YouTube has gotten too ridiculous with their ads, Rumble has less.

Why not post HH in text form?

Why don't you post the HH in text format OP?

I often show aggressive regs weak hands that I m folding to 3bets, usually bvb or blinds vs btn spots, in selfdefence from rake for us both It's something like: "dont take this path or horrible things happen"

I'd never show them a big fold, it's way too exploitable. Even the biggest nits will find some bluffs in their life. I'd rather have them see me as some braindead calling station.

I wouldn't show bluffs either, bluffing is very profitable when they overfold a lot. Remember calling odds, even if you bet an infinite amount, they only have to be good half the time.

I'd only show cards againt people I know, friends etc. for the lulz.

Sometimes I show 1 or 2 cards when holding rags, really bottom in my range when facing a big bet as a "ah I would've continued but how can I?" for no particular reason. Probably because of boredome and giving away info, even if little.

PS: What a nitty fold by villain with the overpair and gutshot deep stacked. That's so exploitable it makes me cringe

I definitely agree with that. People do it thinking they are showing up their opponent with a great fold, but in the case you're good you just give the other guy confidence and satisfaction.

Aren't you giving away information that way?

if im card dead,out of the blue ill do a giant pf raise or 3b then show trash just so when i do get AA its not after folding 300x in a row.

sometimes ill show massive bluffs or 3b air and show 20x in a row if im trying to get a nit to spazz.
+1 on never showing big folds unless its to a massive nit

if im vs GTO opponent i dont show any more than i have to, short of maybe trying to make him misassess my pf range

I do know getting caught bluffing can be a good thing. There's players that caught me bluffing once, then every river after that they don't fold, even 6 months later.....
