Diffrence between 10NLFR and 25NLFR? Diffrence between 10NLFR and 25NLFR?

I know this is a very general and wide question, but what are the major diffrences between 10NLFR and 25NLFR?

Hypothetically, if you are a winning player at the 10NLFR tables, what, if at all, would you need to change to keep being a winning player at the 25NLFR? What if he is very TAG, or perhaps very LAG.

I know it's probably both site and style dependant, but just go crazy! Analyze!! All your thoughts will help me (and others!) outline the diffrences and by doing so help us move up faster

This has been already discussed recently. I haven't noticed any major differences, you just need a healthy bankroll as always.

8/7 is no longer lag, 9/8 is

I found Stars NL25 remarkably easy once you get the basics of TAG down pretty tight. Tables usually consist of 1-2 good TAGS, 2-3 bad TAGS, 4-5 loose-passive fish and sometimes one 60/10/1 donator. I'd imagine it's not that much harder than NL10. Just hammer out raises in position, isolate the fish, and get your ATS as close to (or even above) 30%.

EDIT: Woo, century man

wtf is with all these 'difference' threads.

There are ton of these questions already and its site dependant anyway. How about just playing a few games yourself, or observing them yourself?

I don't care what others say, NL25 is a different game. I crushed NL10, and suck so bad at NL25 for 80k hands.

You shouldn't have any problems moving up to 25NL if you're winning at 10NL. It's hard to tell someone how to play becuase we all play and think differently.
I like the "trial and error" way. Play 25NL as you do at 10NL, analyse the tough hands afterwards, both the ones you win and loose. You will learn how to adjust your 10NL game to 25NL pretty quickly that way.

There's no better way than the "trial and error" way IMO.

gl at 25NL!

I agree, I crushed NL10 also at about 10ptbb/100, and so far in my first 40k hands at NL25 I'm running at 1.5ptbb/100. I'm finding it harder to stack people than it was at NL10, especially not getting paid off on sets as much. I would be interested to see my EV graph though as I seem to have had so many coolers and beats since I moved up although I guess 40k hands is still a fairly small sample.
