I only got $150 on stars now, putting some more 2morrow so i can bum hunt 25nl, the little i have played this month seems games keep getting harder though. Wish all the deregulation would get reversed so badly.

You could well be right. Here's my graph so far, midway through the month. Gonna try to focus and turn it around. Actually, to be virtually break even at this point of the month after this many hands is still pretty good compared to how I was doing last month, so I'm not completely unhappy.

By the way CRP90, do we play together much or are you just basing that on what I say here?

^^^ Bro remember 50nl+ rake is getting raised next year, so yea even if regs dont get tougher or regs move down 50nl-100nl still gonna get much harder just off of the increase in rake alone.

I just took a break from sept to now to finish up my last 3 courses for my worthless business degree too, prob going to look for some low paying third world country 9-5 come january or so though & grind 25nl for side income, either that or gamble my $ in the music industry ehh.

Think there is a rake increase for 50nl when its hu, so trying to start a table cost you alot more, not sure if its alrdy in effect, ive been away a few months so just reading things the past week or so.

yeah then im with you. Sucks for table starters, but it will not affect most of us. Doesnt look good for the future though. Stars really need some competition.

They wont have any competition though, it's kind of a -ev investment to invest large sums in software, marketing etc only to realize you're competing with the cash cow in pokerstars in a market on the decline. Yea no major players would enter in this environment, maybe if the american government ever legalizes poker & the world economy gets better and the deregulation goes away sure, that is all a long way coming if ever.

Rake was already increased for HU and atm no big changes planned for next year.

IMO either:
1. adjust and make the most out of it by grinding more while it's still possible for most people to make decent money
or
2. get out before the **** hits the fan for real and start investing all of your time in education and a career.

All the whining on 2p2 about amaya is just wasted energy. Plus all the recent changes have not affected anyone on this subforum or can be bypassed (currency exchange fees).

Well, if you don't enjoy the game and you are already somewhat financially secure and poker is not a way of income for you, then i don't see any reason why anyone would waste time with this game.

Ohh dont worry ... i thought of walking away a lot of times.

Next summer onwards ill have even less time to play as ill be probably moving home to get more hands on with a job.

Even with all that ... i still harbour ambitions of just crushing some higher stakes .. if that does not happen then ill always have a little regret to carry about with me.

We are all competitive in different ways i suppose.

Im trying to fast track that ambition by playing the $5 Spin & Go's .. but its difficult when ive only had the $10 ones so far.

Im sceptical that there are any other prize's in these so far.

Ive lost 96p from my GBP balance since this morning and yet my GBP / USD is exactly the same.

Why is this 50bb zoom & boom promo only for a week?, in the past it use to a buy in everyday for the week & you could win the hand preflop. Why not just have this 24/7 for zoom and let the 50bb be winnable with the promo hand if u win it postflop, ehh i mean dont think they really can lose much with how it's structured now, needa give something back to the zoom grinders.

Has anyone had trouble with replayer/instant hand history missing hands?



Chk this hand on the left table. I just won with AhAd and no boom symbol but look at the 2 other tables (middle n right) and the boom symbol is visible. Now look on the instant hand history and the hand is completely missing. (I just started playing btw)

Yeah, it's a problem with the UK client and Stars are taking their sweet ass time sorting it out.
