[LOW] Cold call 3bet -- set mining

I cold call a 3-bet from the SB here, typically I'd fold, but I had a strong feeling MP+1 would also call. Effective stacks vs 3bet were 125bb who potentially had an overpair so I decided to set mine.
Didn't hit my set and convinced myself I should call the flop because I might be ahead.. not sure what I was thinking, upon review I should have folded immediately. Was my pre-flop call justified? Could we ever call on the flop against a competent opponent?
