Hero is SB with Q♥️Q♠️ (100BB)
Villan is CO (100BB)

All folds, CO raise 2.5BB, BTN folds, Hero rasie 11BB, BB Folds, CO call.
(Pot 22BB)

Flop: A♥️T♥️3♦️
Hero bet 5.5BB, CO calls
(Pot 33BB)

Turn: 7♦️
Hero check, CO bets 22BB, Hero?

I know we should make some uncomfortable call here, how do you manage those spot?

I just hate the Q♥️ in this spot and my holding really block loads of bluff.

Snap call turn, snap call most rivers.

I could argue having QQ is good because we block his most obvious value hand in AQ.

You need to look at frequencies, does a FD mostly stab turn? Not really it's mixed

Does a gutshot mostly stab a turn? Not really it's mixed

Does AQ mostly stab turn? Yes

**Edit** I am slightly worried about the bigger turn stab sizing but that also is a solver approved sizing so it could work in our favor for bluffs**

I think the turn size is good because in Villan prospective he should bet poler on the turn, we use to see half pot on the turn as simplified strategy and because of the SPR.

You are right about Blocking effect but I am not sure that population is aware that FD should not be stabbed in order to protect the equity vs a raise. I am still convinced that people stab the FD on the turn as bluff all day.

It's a spot were I don't know what I am doing most of the time but here probably we have to continue QQ>JJ>KK. For sure I am never folding QT here also vs a shove on the river.

Do you see some merit in betting 25% on the turn too? Looks a tricky line

Basically what happens in this spot is you bet very small OTF so almost everything is incentivized to call, even with backdoor equity. Then the turn brings a 2nd FD. So you have 2 options OTT you can bet small to target Gutshots/Tx/charge FDs or you can X to bluff catch.

I prefer bluff catching because we have a higher % chance to get stacks. When we call turn (it's not even close imo) we need to be bluff catching on non BW rivers.

When I know a node is over bluffed I like to manipulate my opponent into that node. It won't work on very good players but it will work at the micros/small stakes level.

Yeah, actually if people overstab their FD on the turn (which I am sure that they do) check/calling the turn became even more profitable, this is a thing to keep in mind. Thx
