What do you guys think about the betsizings ? Should I bet smaller on turn to keep more of his draws in or do you think he would call anyway?

I dont think its a value bet, he has very few holdings that can call 3 streets. QJ,QT,JT mostly, rest of his range is pretty much nuts/ beats me or bricked draws.
I think i get much more value by checking back and possibly let them take a stab.

* I think he can easily have 89,T9,TT, here, random suited Ax, other diamond suited connectors

Nh IMO

River is def a x for me because you block all of V's calling range. Much better to let V bluff whiffed draws.

A lot of stuff that beats you raises before river. 5nl players are much better at hero calling Q9 than they are betting diamonds when everybody check/calls the river anyway.

I personally like this x/c, there are plenty of hands we beat that he will bet with (made hands and missed draws).

"Should I bet smaller on turn to keep more of his draws in or do you think he would call anyway?"

For simplicity, I'll assume you have the best hand and he is either calling or folding the turn.

Any OESD, FD, or better is calling 14 BB.

He probably doesn't have a bare A or 8 on the turn, but let's take a look at the math:

Assuming he improves to the best hand 4/46 times and you bet 14 BB into 18.2 BB, he needs ~150 BB implied odds to call and is obviously folding naked gutters here. With 18.2 + 29.2 BB implied odds, he only calls ~4.5 BB or lower. He would have to assume you never have the flush or straight and you bet and 3 bet the river, this is too optimistic.

By pricing in gutters, you are losing value vs. stronger draws and weaker made hands which are a much higher % of his range.

"What do you guys think about the betsizings ?"

The sizes are fine.

Depends on his river strategy. Assuming you are either check/calling or bet/calling this is relatively simple calculation if you have his ranges.

I would probably bet the river and call if he shoves.

V doesn't have that many bluffs by the river and he will xb most of the hands that will call a bet. River is an ez bet.

I think it's optimal line though where we miss value, and I'm probably more worried about missing value than getting bluff shoved on on the river at 5nl

I doubt you get bluff shoved on much with this line.

Could be a bet-call on the river, hard for villain to have us beat and he can shove worse 2pair and bluff a bit.
