Just posting this up to see how you think I did, villian is 38/15/2.5 over 26 hands. The pot side bet on turn and river just didn't seem right and the broad didn't feel like it hit his range that much, and if he did he wouldnt pot side twice.

Im not sure you realise how many draws, or for that matter, made hands, are absolutely crushing you on this turn. Two flush draws and 4 to a straight, a board cant get much wetter than that.

Fold turn. There is so many hands that can be on this board...sets, straights, flush draws, two pair, even just a pair.

Not to mention that because he makes a pot sized bet your getting really **** odds for the situation your in.

But yea, just fold turn and move onto the next hand. The c/cing is horrible.

Edit: i understand your trying to bluff catch, but this just isnt the right spot to do it. If he was going to bluff..he would have done it on the flop im fairly certain. He has most likely just called your raise because he thinks your trying to steal his blind, checked his draw flop, and then made his straight on turn. With those odds, really just get outa that hand. Easy easy fold.

Would like to hear some other opinions....dont think ive explained myself very well here.

This.

especially with a villain that plays 38% of hands he just HAS TO HAVE HIT something to bet pot twice, and bluffcatch? srsly, what can you bluffcatch AJ beats u already
u can only hope to bluff catch vs KQ

so he has like KQ, (okay you w in pot gj i guess)
and then he has like TT / 99 / 88 / 66/77/ some goofy ass straight, top pair K kicker like K6 ish type hands just when he pots on the turn its just not worth it imo , also like jason said no odds to call / bluffcatch at all

if u had ATs and board comes like 274 turn T river 8 and it got checked allt he way and he bets pot on river yeah, id call sometimes, but here, i dont see what u beat after 2 streets of pot betting, maybe he showed up with air and GJ then on getting a read that he only pots when bluffing (which is std for some donks,) but without that read im folding turn, even if u hit an A on the river, ur rarely good.

the pot size bet on the turn could be a bluff, but he could also have the straight. a lot of players bet strong oop on turn w/ made hands if checked on flop because ppl will think they're are trying to take down the pot. other scenario is that he is bluffing but that hes actually beating your hand. you see players check the flop expecting you to bet so they can check raise and when a scary card on turn they cant fold their good hand so they turn it into a bluff.

the same can be said about the river. some people bet made hands like this. dont try to bluff catch if you only have a feeling hes bluffing, you should be pretty certain and have seen him make a similar play before

i would definitely fold turn. there is a lot out there, and you cant even beat all Aces. He is calling with 35% of hands, and there really aren't that many hands you can beat. i think if you weigh the range of hands that beats you versus the range you beat its definitely -EV to be calling here. (esp since u could be drawing dead on turn, easily)

even tho i am almost never good here, his flop donk bet suggest to me he has a draw and it would be better to 3x his bet on the flop, but i was kinda not paying attention and then when he checks turn he just doenst have anything, and on the river its so cheap im never folding...
