BB is a 26/24 reg that calls too much
CO is 21/15 reg that calls flop WAY to much (fold flop 36%) and gets aggressive on later streets
BTN is a drooler 52/24 super passive station.

Should I cbet this dry flop? What's my plan for the hand?

    You can't check. Bet/fold around 50c

Thanks, why are we betting here?

To get value from the people who call too much? can't we get 2 streets of value later on, or do we need to protect our hand from overs?

Yes for value agaisnt people who call too much. We shouldn't be checking TPGK OOP in a 4way flop ever. You can calculate how much equity 3 random hands have against us and you will understand.

Fair point, except why 3 random hands?

Anyway I ended up betting, the turn is very dry:

      Flop: ($0.82) J 6 2 (4 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.49, CO calls $0.49, 2 folds

      Turn: ($1.80) 2 (2 players)

I don't know what sample you got on those stats, probably way to little. There is something to say for checking in a vacuum because when you bet this flop you're never bluffing and this is pretty much the bottom of your range.

But with a fish in there, not betting flop is pretty criminal. Only time I would consider checking is if i'm up against 3 nits, but not against some bad regs and a donkey.

In a vacuum it's also a mistake to check at 5nl, because the players you're up against in this exact spot are a pretty good representation of your avg opposition.

Thanks, this makes sense to me, I usually do bet this flop but was looking for solid reasoning, What about betting a hand like TT in this spot? Also with the turn above would you double barrel this hand?
