Villain stats after 152 hands (this hand was played somewhere in the middle):
18/12/6.6 - 50% cbet flop, 16.0 AF; notes: didn't 3bet AKs pre flop and medium PP but overbet pushed pre with QQ.

[converted_hand][hand_history]Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

MP: $3.50 (175 bb)
Hero (CO): $4.66 (233 bb)
BTN: $2.17 (108.5 bb)
SB: $5.70 (285 bb)
BB: $4.34 (217 bb)
UTG: $3.97 (198.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J 9
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.06, BTN calls $0.06, SB calls $0.05, BB folds

Flop: ($0.20) J 8 9 (3 players)
SB bets $0.12, Hero calls $0.12, BTN raises to $2.11 and is all-in, SB folds, Hero ???

Preflop was a steal - btn and blinds were somewhat tight and blinds were more fit and fold on flop so I was more so hoping btn would fold then I could manouver post flop if a blind called....

As for villain push, I thought it unlikely given his general tightness he would have Q10 for the nuts...but Q10s would fit his shove range though I'm not sure it fits villains preflop range...the push into two players could be a courageous bluff given strength or at least draws shown by two previously acting players from villains perspective. Should hero call or fold?

I'm calling because he'd have to be absolutely ******ed to play a straight like this and we block most set combos.

I would snap call. A lot of hands that might play it this way is J10,JQ,KJ,109,108 some AJ and I think slight chance for even J8. I think it is more likely to be a 10x combo hand.

Def don't slowplay on flop. You have multiway pot, hand that while pretty looking isn't mega monster and there's crapload of turns neither you nor villain are going to be liking on the turn. And by calling you will be giving button correct odds to call with wide variety of hittings. Whenever somebody calls correctly you lose money.

If nobody has anything doubtful you could get more money anyway later by them bluffing so you don't lose that much value either.

Snap call. Raise flop first though instead, be wary, don't want to stack off vs SB though.

Let's say i raised flop to ~$0.55 (after SB led $0.12 as played) and villain shoves in just the same again.

Is the snap call still the reco action?

In that case I'd still call although I'm not fist pumping anymore.
