Butchered AK? Butchered AK?

So I didn't 3-bet preflop because villain was really tight, about 14/6/1.
Is that a mistake? Should I always 3bet to define my hand?
Since I didn't reraise pre, is this an ok line to take with TPTK?

snap call.
you should still 3bet ak preflop even if hes 15/8
hes going to check fold to your c-bet unless he hits hard.

Yeah, obvious call as I played it.....but I was questioning my line and how big of a mistake it was not to 3-bet.

I think you played it fine, 3betting/calling yields about the same result with this guy's tightness.
