Sorry for the formatting, the hand is not ready to be exported yet from Ignition so I had to type it out from the replay.

This is one of the hands I know I played wrong and cost me. I have to run for a bit but I'm going to analyze this some more when I get home. My first thought is I should have folded pre-flop with KTo to a raise from the HJ spot.

Curious as to what you think of how I played this.

UTG: $10

BU: $24.30 (HERO)

UTG: Checks
HJ: Raises $1
CO: Calls $1
BU (HERO): Calls $1

Honestly.. I just lost a big hand before this with AA's so I was mentally lacking the strength to let go of a pair when I know I should have.

Now I'm wondering if I should have even been in the hand to begin with.

yes fold pre unless HJ &or CO are weaker players
Post is where the money burning begins though.
Flop bet is probably fine but turn is just lighting money on fire.

Yeah, the more I run through this, the more it hurts. It's for sure been my worst hand so far and I realized I had no business being in it the moment I got to the turn and yet didn't escape.

Pre isn't great, you have a hand that performs poorly multiway, so I'd go for a 3bet or fold. And your hand isn't great, so probably just a fold. But the EV difference between folding and calling can't be huge.

I think flop is close between checking and betting. Check is probably better, but betting won't be too bad. Problem is, you're not getting called by much worse unless it's a draw.

Turn, you're behind a lot of the draws too now. Time for a check.

I think you can put this down to tilt. At least you didn't lose a stack.

Yeah, this. I don't have KTo as a call vs HJ on BU, 3 way when it gets to you, its definitely a fold. KTs is a 3bet at some frequency.

But, you did not loose entire stack.

preflop should be an easy fold. hands like these can get us into very nasty reverse implied odds spots post.

Thank you all for the comments, I really appreciate your input. Yeah, this one just got away from me and was a tilted hand. Lucky to escape it but lesson learned.

Thanks for your time!
