BB is 21/15, 3bet 7 times out of 101 occasions. Folded to cbet 1 time out of 5 occasions.

I'm pretty sure they 3bet AK and AQ pre. On the turn I think my overbet is OKish, their range is still pretty wide. I don't know if they call with a pair of Q though.

On the river I clearly have 0 showdown value. I thought "in their shoes, I would not be very happy with A10 facing a jam".

Spew? As BB, what is the worse hand you are calling?

€0.25 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem

Hero (BTN): 103.88 BB
SB: 115.92 BB
BB: 110.44 BB
UTG: 140.24 BB
MP: 78.2 BB
CO: 10.8 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has 4 4

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 2.48 BB, fold, BB calls 1.48 BB

Flop: (5.36 BB, 2 players) A A Q
BB checks, Hero bets 1.68 BB, BB calls 1.68 BB

Turn: (8.72 BB, 2 players) 6
BB checks, Hero bets 13 BB, BB calls 13 BB

River: (34.72 BB, 2 players) 3
BB checks, Hero bets 86.72 BB and is all-in

Flop is fine but once he calls I think you can just give up. What are you putting villain on? He could easily be playing an ace passively. You might be able to push him off a queen but you’re risking a lot to do so. Remember the goal of poker is to win money not pots

Looks like hes relatively passive and doesnt like to fold once hes in a pot. Forget what you would feel like holding AT here, what about villain? He might be happy as hell to stack off w A2 or QJ here plus its BB vs BTN where people almost universally call down lighter correctly. UTG vs BB where he defends less Ax and we have more strong Ax would be better for this bluff. Dont like this spot to bluff. We still have showdown value vs broadway draws and backdoor stuff.

I actually thought this hand might of made the cut OTT but it's just 22 and a slight bit of 33.

The unnatural bluffs here are 87s/98s because you block the best underpairs in 77-99.

Overbetting the turn isn't done much as BB has more Ax than you (19.7%vs 16.7%).

If you did want to use this sizing you use 6x hands as bluffs to block A6/66

i mean trying to push people off of trips when you open the button and everything misses w ATC / reverse blockers (we block his worst kickers and i assume people approach bluff catching here linearly) is probably hugely losing strategy. credit for heart though

If villain calls with every Ax, this is obviously a massive torch. I think it's a great value line with 66 though.

I probably just call every ace on the river in villain's spot. This line is super easy to massively overbluff since the value range should be pretty narrow when we block an ace.

Hero's line in this hand can be nice if we have a strong read that villain is weak-tight and we've been showing down some strong hands. But even a weak-tight villain probably takes a stand with A2 here if he thinks we are a spew monkey.

I feel like it is just psychologically very difficult to fold trips when the board is otherwise clean. Trips are always a great bluff catcher, and they are just so pretty.

don't really like it, it's not a particularly printing spot for bluffing (maybe not bad either) and we have a billion bluff candidates without any sdv
