Villain is a fish, limped 7 out of 8 hands but other than that no info. Considering the odds I'm getting, can I fold here? I obv figured I was beat but he could very well have an 8 for a chop or possibly some 2 pair. Or is this simply baluga?

Call. A fish could do this with a wide range. I'm a bit tempted to stack off here, but he's too likely to have a K imo.

Baluga theorem is about TPTK hands facing a raise on the turn in single raised pots, and thus doesn't apply to your situation.

People are easily scared by bets on 4 straight boards but love to represent so I think he's folding quite frequently to a bet on the river.

It's probably terrible but like the nit patsy I am I'm check-calling the river to induce a bluff.

As it is the player limps a lot and appears to call a lot so I'm going to guess hes passive.

This means he likely has it IMO and as played I would want to fold, call against my better judgement and lose to the inevitable king.
