I'm thinking I should have bet the turn because the Q was as much of a scare card for him as it was for me?

Flop is coordinated so I don't think you have that much fold equity on the turn when they call flop, so if you decide to barrel turn you will have to barrel again on the river most times to fold out 8x, 7x, and 66. Villain can flat some 99-JJ but they probably 3b those pre and can be discounted some of the times.

Min raising from the button villain is likely to give you a wide range. That range includes broadway cards which completely miss the board, so you sometimes shouldn't bet here if he checks. Also given your actual hand it makes more sense to check behind to get a free card and hopefully improve.

Barrel, your hand has little to no showdown value. The Q is a great scare card as well as the King. I would think this would be a good spot for a triple barrel bluff.

I think it's either check flop and get to showdown, or once you cbet commit to barrelling t and r on that run out.

I think it's a good spot to barrel off in general but against this opponent we don't know too much about, I prefer to play it safe and check back turn.

Against a fishy opponent just check back this flop and take it from there. It's not a good spot to cbet espically with your hand. If you do bet flop I think you should bet the Q turn and probably go for the 3d bullet when the K comes.
