1/2 Live, austrian cardroom. I post the big blind, may stack is 230€, and the dealer gives me AKo. 1 or 2 limper, regular with 500€ stack (i know he plays for a living) makes it 20 to go. Up to now, every PF raise was 5,7 or sometimes 10€.

First, i wated to call in order to see a favorable flop. I decided this was a bad idea OOP against this player.
Then i wanted to 3-bet to 60.. Eventually i folded. He probably only stacks off with QQ+ pf. (?)

You like it ? The plan for the future is to 3-bet him if i see him doing this kind of raise on a regular base.

I kind of think that that fold was a neutral move. Probably not losing a lot of value here. Calling that and only playing with A on flop might be slightly profitable since AA for him would be unlikely and in that case you get an ace on the flop around 20% of the time; 3-betting you are not sure of his range (tight still, I assume).

K high board could be bad for you.

If he's never done it and he's competent, I fold that.

Yeah, neutral EV move against a good regular. Let someone else be the guinea pig to figure out what this bet sizing means.

Heads up pot out of position against a solid player. Good fold.
