I bought a 22" on sale for like $130, i have 4 stacks that fit comfortably on it and think upgrading to a bigger monitor would be a waste.

If I could do it again, I would likely buy something with at least 1900x1200, but i'm comfortable with whatever mine is now (1680x1080 or whatever, i'm not sure).

I also bought an used 19" for 50e to go with my former 19" monitor. Cheap way to be able to tile 8 tables.

My next one will be a 42" TV though.

Personally I have no problems 12 tabling with a 24" at 1900x1200. Which I normally have.

Atm I do it on a 22" 1680x1050 with some tables on the rightside overlapping. No big deal though.

looks like this at FTP (res in pic a bit downsized):

I tile 24 tables on dual 28s. If you aren't planning on mass tabling in the future (ie. 16+), you'll probably be suited just fine with a 24.

However, for tiling mass tables I find a big difference between 28s and 24s even though they run the same resolution. The pixel size is obviously significantly smaller on the 24s, and this makes HuD stats that much smaller and difficult to read
