so i don't think i need to post stats on the players...but i just kinda laughed before i bet knowing i was gonna get rr and i was no good here.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

UTG ($19.55)
Hero (MP) ($54.85)
CO ($32.75)
Button ($32.05)
SB ($22.90)
BB ($24.70)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A, Q
UTG calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.25, CO calls $1.25, Button calls $1.25, SB calls $1.15, BB calls $1, UTG calls $1

Flop: ($7.50) 5, A, 7 (6 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $5.50, 1 fold, Button raises to $22.75, 3 folds, Hero folds

Total pot: $18.50 | Rake: $0.90

so villan has 55/77/a5s/a7s prolly 100% of the time?

i think my bet's fine...but this is what i think is a clear fold..or should i have just c/f?

Don't c/f holy ****, if you think you get raised alot you can bet a bit less but when flatted you're good almost always.

i would be more scared of a flat on such a dry board than a raise. i thought about just betting something like 3.75 or 4. i guess my problem was i was almost sure this hand is no good 6 ways. i understand c/f is awful and my b/f was the best option..i think. i just felt it was laughable that i knew i was gonna get r/r and the r/r was that huge.

Why would you be more scared of a call? I know people love to slowplay on dry boards but if he calls he has a lot of weaker TP hands and possibly medium PPs in his range which he wouldn't raise on the flop.

well it's player dependent. and vs the specific villain who pot raised me, he was running 7/6 over 300 hands. so a flat there would scare me.

Nasty spot. Against a sane player you're beat here like every time. I'd only play for stacks against an incredibly bad player.

Although, that is a great place to bluff. Nobody ever bluffs there, you might even get AK to fold and TT-KK definitely fold. If a 2+2'er has 55 here he'll probably start a topic about folding sets on the flop.

Easy fold against any kind of remotely reasonable player - there's 3 guys to act behind him when he shoves, so this is super strong imo.

yeah the 4$ bet here is far more versatile, we can check turn to control pot vs the 7/6 villian if he calls, and also be able to comfortabiliy stack the 60/8 fish.

Maybe close to 90-95%, he can have 86s - but it's still a fold.

With 5 jerks setmining me I'd c/fold any flop except for AAQ or AQQ.

I like the way you played it BTW

5 calls.

I'm not sure we're beat...With so many people coming along, there has to be someone not believing your cbet and looking to push you off the hand. Even a weaker ace like AJ, or AT could be doing this. Your raising range is not necessarily just high aces...pocket pairs ETC.

I get huge raises from people with worse kickers all the time in bloated pots. For the price getting in here seems ok. Usually not, but the bloated preflop pot makes people get stupid sometimes. That said, it seems like a marginal spot, and there could be better (lower variance) plays abounding, so I would pick one of those - against this villian.

Also, I agree with the slightly smaller cbet.
