ofcourse it would be profitable to play 100% buttons. its what grimstarr used to do. it gay as liking balls in ur face.

against most opponents you should show a profit from the BB btw

It must be awesome that you only have your internet friends to brag to.

Maybe that $3k can buy you some class.

Read this: http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/prom.../reload-bonus/ .

If you have a walmart near you and can purchase a card and load it up with $600 for me to deposit onto my account. I will transfer you $650. So you profit probably like, $35, I make $70 from the bonus offer. ($120 from the offer minus the $50).

Blah blah blah no scam-aments, regulars only. Will only transfer if the card works.

Was browsing the forums and didnt see any posts in whats a very popular post on pocketfives. " Taking the Plunge" I was wondering if maybe any of the pro's here that play HU sng's for a living could give some advice out and some tips. I.E. Cash out systems, how much you had saved up, what level could you feasibly consider yourself a pro what time of bankroll you could start on. Just to spice up the forum a tad.

I'm not "pro" because I still have a real job, but but the last 6 months, I've made 3-4x as much playing poker as my real job so it's getting close to taking the plunge. I've paid off all my debt, my car and my wife's car so the only thing we owe on is the house. I have like 40K in the bank and 60K online but still haven't left the day job yet.

Beat: Made 21.00/hr yesterday 9-5
Brag: Came home and made 2100.00 in 3 hours.
Variance: I still came to work today.

umm, ship the $1300 and $1200 live days, I love this game here, and it's a nice break from HU SNG, TruGrinder I don't consider myself pro by any stretch, but I play for rent/life/college and have asked all these same questions to many pros so PM me or msg me on AIM: sadmba or MSN: metz_44@hotmail.com and i'd be glad to take the time to answer your questions for you

We will have fun either way!

I'm off to the airport in like 15 minutes

lol that people took my "i sit and raise button once then leave" post seriously.

*edit* I see that that post sent some people totally off their rocker so I apologize if you took it seriously. I mean, I've heard of winning a big pot and then leaving, which is common, but I thought "win one blind and leave" was pretty obv not serious.

When no one knows you it's probably best to not assume they will know your joking. In any case, my apologies if you were just kidding.
04-11-2008 , 03:41 PM
Yeah, sorry, I read this forum pretty often just don't post a ton. I figured it was too ridic to be taken seriously but who knows right? Although I'm pretty sure whoever gets the button first is randomized, so I don't think it's possible and I've never seen anyone do that.

Cwar did pm me and say he's interested in learning how to do that...always knew that guy was shady jk man I know you were just doing your detective work. I'll put more smileys and jk's with any more joke posts until I have more street cred with the hit n' run police.

Poker Stars $220+$10 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t15/t30 Blinds - 2 players
2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked

BTN/SB: t2105
Hero (BB): t895

Pre Flop: Hero is BB with 6 7
BTN/SB calls t15, Hero checks

Flop: (t60) 7 5 7 (2 players)
Hero bets t60, BTN/SB raises to t120, Hero calls t60

Turn: (t300) 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN/SB bets t90, Hero calls t90

River: (t480) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN/SB bets t90, Hero calls t90

Final Pot: t660
BTN/SB shows Kc 7s (three of a kind, Sevens)
Hero mucks 6d 7c
BTN/SB wins t660

I get tilted by the weirdest things... Like when someone plays their hand in the only way that I don't get stacked. On more than one occasion. And then I still lose.
