Villain is passive 44/7 over 30 hands. Certainly not enough for a really solid read but he hasnt shown any real aggression. Is this a reasonable line to get more value from worse hands? If not what would you do and why?

Just bet the turn. There's no reason to believe a passive villain is going to bet for you, and checking misses value against Kx and flush draws. Bet every street imo.

i think you should bet again on the turn hoping to get called by any random k q or draw rather than going for the c/r

Why would you go for a check/raise against a passive villain? Just betting all the way would get the most value/disguise your hand.
