Curious as to what 2+2 thinks of this hand. UTG is main villain and running 35/10 over 30 hands and has not topped up his stack, he's been hovering around $2 going up and down. Nothing really noteworthy I have on him other then he doesn't use auto top up. HJ is irrelevant and folded before my shove to the 4bet. SB is what makes the spot really interesting. I have 16 hands on him but he's running 83/53 w/ a 20% 3bet already. He has been tagged as a fish before the hand started.

What hands can we jam in this position? How do we feel about the play overall? What hands are each villain showing up with?

Yatahay Network - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 101 BB
UTG: 118 BB
MP: 43 BB
Hero (CO): 304.5 BB
BTN: 98.5 BB
SB: 121 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K A

UTG raises to 4.5 BB, MP calls 4.5 BB, Hero raises to 15 BB, fold, SB calls 14.5 BB, fold, UTG raises to 40 BB, fold, Hero raises to 304.5 BB and is all-in, SB calls 106 BB and is all-in, UTG calls 78 BB and is all-in

I'm not in love when he 4bets to 40bb instead of shove but I'm still not folding

I fold AKo when UTG open raised first to 4.5bb and then again to 40bb instead of going all-in
Jamming AA only
KK if i am card dead or on tilt

it is immaterial for me after i fold my hand
I make a note if and only if iam going to see the fishes again to know their betting patterns

How about just calling his 4bet and play IP vs (sb) and utg?

yuck - it's even worse
AKo is like an erect human anatomy preflop and goes flaccid once 3 cards on the flop are dealt

Yeah, I’m definitely never calling here. Fish can decide to jam over and we lost what little fold equity we have, or a flop we can’t continue on hits and we lose whatever amount of equity we had. It definitely feels like a jam or fold spot and I just can’t seem to get myself to find a fold button even though we’re very likely up against at least one set of AA/KK

the 4bet here is just KK+ far too often to have any reason to continue

There's so much dead money that UTG should be 4betting wide here

Interesting feedback, thank you all. Main villain showed up with AQ, fish had AT and hero held on and scooped the pot (52% equity in this specific situation) It was fun to watch the hand because villain actually turned a straight and I rivered a flush to win back the hand. I still don’t know if I’d play it the same way again as this was pretty much the best case scenario and I still only win half the time. Nonetheless, still a fun spot to think about.
