So i noticed a while ago that there were some strange thing going on with the all in ev estimate by holdem manager.

for example, this hand i just played.

CO shows AQ
(Flop 32.6%, Turn 20.5%)

As you can see im am way ahead preflop but when I check the hand in the session hand list this what I see:




Right below the hand I hilight in the pic its another KK vs AJ all in preflop and the situation is the same. All in ev- is negative.

This kinda screws my graph cuz ppl think im running hotther then the sun, but my EV line is smaller than my actual winning because of this situations where I put the money ahead and nevertheless HM says it is EV-.

Is this to be expected? Or my HM is screwd up?

EV $ Diff != EV. You get EV by adding up your net profit and EV $ Diff so here your net profit is 44.57 and EV $ Diff is -25.85 so your EV is 44.57+(-25.85)= 18.72.

Oh I get it! So in this case we could say that i won more 25$ than i should have?

The EV difference is negative because your expected value in this hand (EV) is not going to be $44.57 (the full pot) since some of the time villain will draw you out with his AQs, therefore part of the equity share is his so when you win the pot your short term results are better than your long-term expected results.
