Weird line for villain to take here and betting 7 into a 21 pot. Do you guys like a check raise as played or just let it go

Just let it go. Stack sizes are really awkward and people also hate folding. I think you need to have some idea of how villain plays before you can start bluffing profitably here. Unknowns are just too likely to either be making a blocking bet with something weak and then randomly decide that you're bluffing once you raise, or already have a big hand.
