I am getting a bit over 3-1 on turn so I decided to make the call and fold to a big river bet. Did our hand improve on the river? Are we calling?

Snap call. If he played a set this way, so be it.

the turn is where you should consider folding, otherwise as played, it's hard to find a reason to fold river. i hate getting c/r on the turn, and imo it's a big hand pretty often.
