Hey. Here's another hand I would love to get some feedback on.

Villain is 50/14 but only on a very small sample. But he sure looks like a fishy player.

Party Poker $50 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

UTG: $49.75
MP: $48.28
CO: $90.84
BTN: $55.90
Hero (SB): $50.00
BB: $52.00

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is SB with K A
1 fold, MP calls $0.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.50, 1 fold, MP calls $2

Flop: ($5.50) J A 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $3, MP calls $3

Turn: ($11.50) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $8.19, MP calls $8.19

River: ($27.88) 5 (2 players)
Hero?

Allright so he called 2 bets allready and his check/calling could very well be a slowplayed set. So my problem here is I dont know what to do and I'm oop.

So what worse hand would call a river value bet? maybe a few worse Ax's but I think thats it.

Maybe check/call and let him bluff with QK or some other junk is more +EV here?

If I bet however I will pritty much comit myself and stack of if he shoves but I might save like 15$ if I check/call and he happends to have a stronger hand.

What you think is the best line here?

Thanks for your time!

Im no pro but i like check calling more than bet calling. I think most sets would raise the turn, a hand that fits his line perfectly is KQ diamonds. Check and keep his bluffs in and use some pot control if you happen to be beat. I cannot see folding this hand at all.

I think the only hands we can get value from are AQ and maybe A10 thats pretty thin imo

Any Ax calls here. Villain is bad because he calls too much, not because he bluffs too much. Make him make the mistake that he is capable of making.

Fishes have many more Ax in their range and often won't fold Jx.

I'd also make it an overbet, to get the most value from his Ax's and get more J's to call.

if have already commited 1/3 of ur stack so this means u are commited. If u check and he shoves which a set is doing u have to call. By checking u are helping him not stack off. The guy is 50/14 a complete donk he has Ax everytime

i don't care what individual results are here you bet 3 streets and be happy about it. c/c is dumb as hell because you let him check behind with any second best hand he is using as a bluff catcher.

Def bet/fold. You are missing a ton of value from every other ace if you check this river. If he raises your bet you can insta-muck because a passive player like this is only coming over the top with hands that have you owned. Got to bet this river against such a passive villan who is calling down every ace.
