Effective stacks about 140bb. zone poker, so I know nothing about V.

Hero UTG with AJss, raise to .75
LP V calls, all others fold

Flop (~$1.76) Th7c2c
H cbets $1.20
V Calls $1.20

Turn (~$4.04) Th7c2c5s
H bets $3.25
V calls $3.25

River (~$10.22) Th7c2c5s9c

H check
V check

Biggest question I had after thinking about this hand was how much credit to give the flush draw heads up? On a rainbow flop, I think I should just check/fold the turn, correct? Am I giving too much credit for a flush draw by betting the turn here? With this line, I probably need to bet the river if the club doesn't come, right? Do I really want to do that? I likely need to make unknown villain fold a made hand if I do.

Check/fold flop. Betting turn is super spew.

A bet to $1 instead of $1.20 does the same thing here. Saves almost 1bb per hand on your bluffs. Plus in zone, you can be as exploitable as you want with your bet sizings. And definitely smaller OTT. Unless he is good, a random Bovada villain is never folding the turn with a flush draw. Think about it: What exactly are we trying to accomplish with a bet? Can we get worse to call? Meh, flush draws perhaps. Can we get better to fold? If we're trying to fold out 2x, then yes.

But your last sentence isn't a good one: Don't try to get an unknown villain, especially on Bovada, to fold a made hand. They just won't do it.

Betting flop is alright, although I don't even mind check/folding much either, the flop hit his range pretty hard. betting the turn is just burning $$$ in my opinion. Just curious what is your Cbet flop %?

I think the flop c-bet is alright; better if one of the cards is a spade. Definitely just check/fold that turn though.

I had pt years ago when I used to play, but no software now. Does it even work on Bovada?

My Cbet flop % would be huge though. I admit to pretty much blindly cbetting, probably because the fold to cbet % seems to be gigantic as well. Seems like this would be a larger leak on non-zone, non incognito sites though.

That said, I'm really using on-line poker as training for live, which I enjoy more, so would like to avoid bad habits that I wouldn't get away with live.

I'm guessing I shouldn't rep what I don't have at these stakes either?

Stacks $35

UTG Raise to .75
Hero call 82cc on button
all others fold

Flop ($1.76) A 7 9 rainbow
UTG cbets $1.10
Hero raises $3.10
UTG calls

Turn ($7.65) A 7 9 3
UTG check
Hero bets $4.25

Bad against complete unknown I guess. Maybe I need to get out of zone and learn my opponents first before doing this...

There is a way to get your hands from bovada into pt but you have to download a third party software you cannot import hands directly into pt.

Too high cbet% is going to cause you to leak money especially if you play a lot live where you have very very little fold equity. When I play live I usually only cbet really dry boards(like Q32), paired boards, or when an A comes. On flops like 789 or 1076 I will usually just check/fold cause villains don't like to fold even with bottom pair they will call you all the way down.

Reminds me of my last live session. I was to the left of a pretty good regular who thought about hands a bit. I called his cbet on a dry flop, the turn paired the board, he bet, I raised him all in (about a pot sized bet). I was up quite a bit and hadn't shown anything but solid hands all night. After thinking a bit and expressing extreme discomfort, he said "I guess you've got it, you haven't done anything like this all night. I call". LOL. We'd been playing together about 5 hours and had been talking all night.

Well, you obviously just fold this hand pre-flop.
