Thought this was a pretty tough spot. The guy directly to my right is a COMPLETE maniac. playing 75/50, calls 3bets 80% and will bluff at any point possible but is capable of folding to aggression back. I had 3bet him 7 or 8 times already and showed tons of aggression (while stacking him 3/4 times)

hand in Question: The button is playing 9/8 over 100 hands. no memorable showdowns that i remember...

Full Tilt - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

BB: $5.00
UTG: $4.97
Hero (CO): $24.92
BTN: $5.11
BB: $6.92

BB posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: ($0.05) Hero has J A

fold, UTG raises to $0.15, Hero raises to $0.55, BTN calls $0.55, fold, UTG calls $0.40

Flop: ($1.70, 3 players) T J 6
UTG checks, Hero bets $1.00, BTN calls $1.00, fold

Turn: ($3.70, 2 players) 4

thoughts on turn action? he has about a PSB left.

remove villains hand imo

...and as played i fold turn here, you are trying to bluff a 75/50 (read: little to no FE). and the fundamental "rule" is don't bluff stations, especially aggro ones like this. just vbet them when you do have a hand.

i posted the wrong hand, also, i disagree on the AK hand as this villain was possibly more insane than you guys were aware of. that draw was near the very top of his range as he potted more than he did any other action.

Can you give a range for a 9/8 (over a decent sample size) to make that OK?

oops didnt see the new hand had a different villain (thought it was the 75/50 lol)

cold calling 3bet from a 9/8 super nit seems super strong. probably looking at TT+, AK

the annoying thing is we now have a TPTK in 3bet pot OOP where our TPTK might not even been good against such a strong range. so i think it comes down to how strongly you're going to go with your reads. try pokerstoving it to see how much equity you need vs TT-AA, AK, AKs, QKs
