Ongame Network $0.02/$0.04 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players

BB: $4.00
Hero (UTG): $6.36
MP: $8.38
CO: $6.75
BTN: $4.28
SB: $3.48

Pre Flop: ($0.06) Hero is UTG with A J
Hero raises to $0.12, MP raises to $0.40, CO calls $0.40, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.28

Flop: ($1.26) 8 9 T (3 players)
Hero checks, MP checks, CO bets $0.64, Hero calls $0.64, MP calls $0.64

Turn: ($3.18) 2 (3 players)
Hero checks, MP checks, CO bets $1.60, Hero raises to $5.32 all in

Is shoving there terrible? With the Flush and Strait on the board I figure I have a lot of fold equity and I have a 32% chance to hit a strait or flush.

Is there a better line? Calling seems bad but I could be wrong.

Call turn, with 15 outs you don't need fold equity here. Your immediate odds make a call a profitable play.

No doubt.

But we don't need fold equity here. Just calling is a profitable play.

We need fold equity on our weaker draws, where a call is not profitable.

If we don't need fold equity we shouldn't be shoveling money into a pot where if we're called we're not going to be a favorite, IMO.

Plus you need both of them to fold, so your fold equity drops a bit anyway.

Just because we don't need fold equity doesn't mean calling is the most profitable play. Any time we river one of our outs it will be 4 to straight or flush so we won't be able to get much value.

Shoving is better.
