I'm probably donking that flop for ~$2 or so. TPTK OOP, if they fold right there then I'd be happy. I wouldn't want to see a Q or K come on the turn and be in a worse spot.

Also, I think I would often just fold pf, the caller does make it more enticing though.

why fold preflop? im crushing a tags stealing range. Hate donking flop asking to be raised and i dont wanna play a big pot. Main thing here was block river or c/c to induce

LOL, maybe I fold pre because I don't know what to do in this exact spot.
I'd prefer a 3bet to the flat if CO's a frequent blind stealer. Given his tight stats, it seems to me that AJ is likely a marginal hand to play OOP against this guy. I'm not saying that I'd always fold it, it depends on the players of course.
Someone correct me if my thinking is flawed!

he had a 36% ats when i just checked. You would rather 3 bet then if you get called play AJ against a tag in a 3bet pot oop than call and know your ahead more often than not? id rather 3bet 72o than AJ. Also folding here against a 36% stealer seems very weak

Yeah, I think I do. Looking at your line again it seems like a call is fine pre, and you were going for a c/c on the flop. nh
