2 hands were played where my TP got raised on the flop. 2 very diff opp.

6 max, 5-10, 1k effective.

1. Hero is dealt AJ in MP. UTG folds, Hero raises to 35, HJ folds, Villain calls on the BTN, Blinds fold. Villain is 18/14/2.5

Flop: J63. Hero bets 60, Villain raises to 170, Hero?

Since I don't really know the Villain's tendencies with FD and he's 18/14/2.5 I don't really want to 3 bet. If I call what's my plan on a non-diamond turn? Call again or fold or raise... it varies I assume? Can I just fold the flop?

2. Hero is dealt AJ on the BTN. Folds to hero who raises to 35, SB folds, Villain in the BB calls. Villain is 26/22/3.5.

Flop: J63. Villain checks, Hero bets 60, Villain CR to 150. Since the CR is smallish, I decided not to 3 bet here causing him to get it AI with his FD and possibly allow him to bluff the turn. If a non-club card comes on the turn, am I supposed to jam or call again? If I jam only worse hands are calling me right? So am I not supposed to jam the turn a non club? Or is jamming best because against his range (FD and sets... but obviously weighted to FD) it's best to jam the turn because money only goes in on the river if I am beat.

Advice?

Hand 1: If you dont know villains tendencies w/ FD, its fold/3bet. I'd just 3bet it tho.
Hand 2: Easy 3bet imo. If hes the bluffy ******ed-type, just call 3 streets.

Hand 2: The problem with calling is that the turn card might be the ace of diamonds, and then you are in a really weird spot.

So is flat calling OOP with TPTK on a FD board viable? If so, why? IF our TP is an A, we should be more inclined to call the raise OOP than if our TP was a J right? If we have a J, we should probably be more inclined to 3 bet am I right, just because certain cards make our hand a little harder to play against tougher opponents.
