Hi everyone,
I am just a beginner, starting to try to get my feet wet on PlayMoney.
Played on Full Tilt yesterday, on NL 6-Max, 300-600.
I was UTG+1, stack 109,000 and Villain was at the button, stack 87,000ish.
I raised to 1800 with 9s. Cutoff, Button, and BB called. Pot was 7,500.
Flop was 982 rainbow. BB checked.
I checked with the intention to trap. Cutoff and Button checked along.
Turn was a 6, still no Flush Draw. BB checked.
I figured that I need to start building the pot, so I bet 6,600.
Cutoff called, Button raised to 21,800, BB folded. I called. Cutoff folded.
At this moment, I put Button on either pocket 6s or 10-7.
But I was leaning towards pocket 6s, since he called my pre-flop raise and he has been a fairly tight-solid player.
River was a Q, total blank. I checked and he shoved. I tanked and decided to call thinking that he most likely has pocket 6s. And well, he flipped 10-7.
Is me leaning towards pocket 6s and not 10-7 totally wrong ?
Anything else that I can do better on each of the street ?
Thank you for yorr opinion and advises.
Jaya.

dont trap, bet when you have the goods. specially in play money and low stakes where not everyone have a brain
